Pantry Raid was a huge success

Another Prospector’s Pantry Raid is in the books and what an amazing time it was this year.  Hopefully you got a chance to see the Pantry Raider, our monstrous shopping cart we drove all over the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.  If you missed it remember pictures don’t do it justice but here is one:

We raised more food than I can remember raising in a long time and I am honored to have been a small part of making that happen.

I want to acknowledge all of our sponsors, who not only coughed up money but also made gracious donations, R.J. Burne Cadillac, N.E.T. Federal Credit Union, Fuller Performance Cycle in Old Forge, FogVapes in Edwardsville, B3Q Smokehouse in West Pittston, The Wilkes-Barre Y.M.C.A.  and of course our fantastic partners in all of this Gerrity’s Supermarkets!  Thanks Joe, Mom and the entire Gerrity’s gang you guys made it happen and I am truly thankful!  The biggest thank you of all goes to all the wonderful Rock 107 listeners who stopped by and donated to help the H. & J. Weinberg Food Bank continue their mission of feeding needy people all over Northeast PA.

It was a couple of long days but I wouldn’t trade them for the world.  I got to meet tons of great people who listen to Rock 107 and wanted to help out.  I’ll sleep a ton this weekend and look forward to Pantry Raid 2014!

Thanks Again
